Sharing information with other Pi members, friends, family and others has become a normal part of life. We will present a number of ways to share photos, files and other information using cloud-based services.
We will demo
Flikr, Google+, Facebook, and Vimeo for photo or video sharing.
Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, and OneDrive for file and document sharing .
For online collaboration, we will explore iCloud-and-desktop-based apps such as
Pages, Keynote and Numbers from Apple using iCloud
Word, PowerPoint and Excel from Microsoft using OneDrive.
Word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms using Google Drive and Google Docs.
We will discuss the pros and cons of using the different services mentioned above. Members are invited to share their experiences with the audience.
