Walt Mossberg, former Pi member and current technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal, will speak at the Walter Reed Community Center in Arlington, VA, on February 6, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. The event, hosted by VMUG (Virginia Macintosh Users Group), has been opened at Walt's request to Washington Apple Pi members and members of NovApple (Northern Virginia Apple Users Group).
Mossberg is a well respected chronicler of the computer industry, and a keen admirer (as well as critic) of Apple's Macintosh technology. His Personal Technology Web site, hosted by the Wall Street Journal, collects most of his musings on things technological, and particularly their merits in the business world. Given the recent launch of Vista, the forthcoming launch of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and the forthcoming release of iPhone, this is an excellent time to hear what he has to say.
Walter Reed Community Center is at 2909 16th Street South in Arlington. Google map to meeting.
