For our November General Meeting this Saturday, we'd been planning a trip back to the GMU lab of Jim McLean but as I hadn't heard back from my Jim, we decided to use this meeting to welcome NCA-MUG members who would like to join us. As those of us who are also members of the Cleveland Park based NCA-MUG know, that MUG is closing its doors and had its last meetup earlier this month. Upon the unfortunate closure of NCA-MUG, we'll offer those members who aren't already Pi members - like me - a year of PI membership for them to see whether the Pi meets their needs, not to replace NCA-MUG, but to have a place to interact with members in a low key relaxed way about tech.
So if some NCA-MUG members attend our Saturday GM, we'll ask them to introduce themselves, and then give them a tour of the Pi. Our hope is for tech talk but also some collegial back and forth that I think will be enjoyable.
Join us! And don't forget to sign in to our Pi attend, https://wap.org/attend, to be eligible for our door prize drawn at meeting's end!

The Zoom meeting invitation will be posted on the Pi's conferencing system, the TCS, and sent out to members via Email. Please check your Zoom profile online to be sure it contains your full name, because for security reasons, we can't let anyone in without their full name.
Important! if you use the Zoom app (instead of a web browser), check in advance that you have version 6.0 or better. Zoom made a massive update recently that moved everything around and even renamed the software application.
